Chimney Questions, Answered

Everything San Antonio homeowners ask us most, about our service, pricing, scheduling, and how we work. Don't see your question? Just call or text.

About Our Company
Yes. Every job is performed by certified and fully insured technicians. That protects your home and means the work is done to the right standard. We're happy to confirm our credentials before we start any work.
We cover the greater San Antonio metro and the surrounding Texas Hill Country, including Alamo Heights, Stone Oak, Helotes, Boerne, Schertz, Cibolo, New Braunfels, and many more. Not sure if you're in range? Give us a call, chances are we cover your area.
We do. Every job is backed by a 3-year workmanship warranty, in writing. If something we did isn't right, we come back and make it right. We stand behind our work because we do it properly the first time.
Pricing & Estimates
Yes, estimates are free with no obligation, and on-site if the job needs a closer look. There's no service call fee just to come out and assess your chimney. You get a real number for your specific situation before you decide anything.
It depends entirely on the service and the condition of your chimney, a cap install is very different from a masonry rebuild. That's exactly why the estimate is free: we look at your actual chimney and give you an honest, upfront price rather than a vague guess. No surprises added at the end.
No. That's a core part of how we work. If a small repair solves your problem, that's what we quote. We'll tell you honestly what your chimney needs and what it doesn't, no scare tactics, no padding the invoice. It's why so much of our work comes from referrals.
We accept standard payment methods and go over all of it clearly before any work begins, so there's never a surprise. Reach out and we'll walk you through the options for your job.
Scheduling & Service
Often quickly, and for active leaks we offer same-day availability because water damage gets worse fast. For routine work we'll find a time that fits your schedule. The fastest way to get on the calendar is to call or text us directly.
We're open Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We're closed Saturdays. Have an emergency outside those hours? Call anyway, we prioritize urgent water issues.
For the initial estimate it helps to be there so we can walk you through what we find, but much of the actual exterior work (crowns, caps, chase covers, masonry) can be done without you home once the plan is approved. We'll sort out the details when we schedule.
The Work Itself
We handle the whole chimney, top to base: sweeps, inspections, leak repair, waterproofing, crown repair, flashing, caps, chase covers, tuckpointing, and full masonry rebuilds. If it's on your chimney, we do it.
As a general rule, a chimney should be inspected once a year and swept as needed based on how much you use it. Annual checks catch small problems, a hairline crown crack, a receding mortar joint, while they're still cheap fixes instead of major repairs. Regular inspection is the single best way to avoid surprise bills.
Don't wait, water damage compounds quickly and gets more expensive the longer it sits. Call or text us right away; active leaks get priority scheduling. The tricky part is that the stain inside is rarely where the water actually enters, so we trace it to the true source. Start on our leak repair page or just reach out.
You don't have to figure that out yourself, that's our job. Tell us the symptoms you're seeing (a stain, a smell, rust streaks, crumbling mortar, an animal noise) and we'll diagnose the actual cause. Often the fix is smaller than homeowners fear. Send us a photo by text and we can usually point you in the right direction fast.
Sometimes, particularly when the damage ties to a sudden event like a storm, though gradual wear and tear is usually excluded. Coverage is always between you and your insurer, but we make it easier by providing photos of the damage and a detailed written quote so you walk into the claim with solid documentation.

Still have a question? We pick up, and we're happy to help.
